About the Band:
Inspired by the haunting harmonies of bands like Fleet Foxes and First Aid Kit, and finding kindred spirit the complex and detailed production of bands like The Decemberists and Lord Huron, Pandafan takes influences ranging from the Carter Family to Radiohead and adds their own intricate harmonic spin. The result is a unique vocal blend and energetic melodies.
Pandafan is three young women, all students at SUNY Purchase in While Plains, NY. Grace DeNatale is a classically trained violinist with an innate ability to sing and write complex lyrics. Delaney Hafener is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, handing guitar, keyboard, accordion and more. She began writing and recording at age 13. Stella Emmett is a world-traveled soulful songwriter with a smooth voice.
